An eSIM is a digital SIM built into a compatible phone or tablet. A travel eSIM lets you add a prepaid mobile data plan without replacing your physical SIM. After purchase, abesteSIM emails a QR code and activation details so you can install the plan and connect at your destination.
Most newer phones from Apple, Samsung, Google, Huawei, and others support eSIM. Go to your device's Settings and look for the SIM card or Mobile network section. If your device supports eSIM, you'll see an option to add, activate, or manage an eSIM. Dial *#06# — if your device displays an EID number, that's a good indicator that it supports eSIM. You can also check our device compatibility list to confirm.
Use the abesteSIM Usage Checker with the ICCID from your purchase email to view your plan status and remaining data. You can also review cellular data usage in your phone settings. Carrier reporting can be delayed, so the displayed balance may not update immediately.
